Shipping methods, costs and deadlines
The Instituto Clínico del déficit del DAO S.L. reserves the right to vary the method of shipment and the company with which it is sent, independently of what is set out in these pages and provided that this does not entail any obvious prejudice to the client. Under no circumstances will shipments be made to P.O. Boxes. We work with the main transport agencies.
Once the shipment has been made, we will provide you with the dispatch number so that you can contact the transport agency directly and arrange the delivery.
In case of absence of the addressee (one delivery attempt), the shipment will be left at the nearest point of the transport company.
All our shipments are insured, so if there is any kind of incident (loss, breakage, etc.), we will refund the amount of the purchase to the buyer or we will send a new product. Upon receiving the order it is mandatory that the buyer checks that everything is in accordance with your order and in perfect condition. If you do not agree with the products delivered, sign and indicate by hand on the delivery note the anomalies you found upon receipt (packaging in poor condition, do not match the packages delivered with the delivery note, etc.). In case of any incident, we only have 24 hours from the date of receipt of the product, to complain to the carrier. Once this period has elapsed, the buyer will be responsible for the expenses incurred.
b) Expenses
The shipment will be prepaid in the following cases:
Spain (Peninsula) and Portugal: Purchases over 100€.
Shipping prices may be affected by the increase of fuel.
c) Delivery time guarantee:
Peninsular area: Delivery guarantee 48 to 72h.
Balearic Islands: Mallorca 48-72h / Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera 48-96h.

Exceptional situations will be evaluated individually.
Refunds
a) Right of Withdrawal
The period for exercising this right is 14 calendar days from receipt of the product or from the date of the contract in the case of services, without penalty. A template for exercising the right of withdrawal is available in Annex I of these Terms and Conditions; however, any other form that demonstrates the exercise of this right will also be valid.
Regardless of the method chosen to exercise their right of withdrawal, the USER must clearly and unequivocally express their intention to withdraw from the purchase contract.
The withdrawal period will expire 14 calendar days from the day the USER, or a third party authorized by the USER (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods purchased on our website. If the goods comprising the order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period will expire 14 calendar days from the day the USER, or a third party authorized by the USER (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the last of the goods comprising the same purchase order.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the communication clearly expressing the decision to withdraw before the corresponding deadline expires.
If the right of withdrawal is exercised, the amount paid, including shipping costs, will be refunded. The consumer will have to pay the return shipping costs when they have been previously informed of this.
The refund will be made without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which the SELLER is informed of the exercise of the right of withdrawal.
However, the refund may be withheld by the SELLER until the purchased products or items have been received, or until the USER provides proof of their return, whichever occurs first.
The refund will be made using the same payment method the USER used for the initial purchase transaction.
Exercising the right of withdrawal will not entail any costs for the consumer.
The USER must return the products or goods subject to withdrawal, also within 14 calendar days from the date on which they notified their right of withdrawal.
The USER acknowledges that they will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods (shipping, delivery), if applicable. Furthermore, they will be liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. However, the CLIENT will not be required to reimburse any amount for a diminished value of the goods resulting from their use as agreed upon or inherent to their nature, or from the use of the service.
In any case, no refund will be issued if the product has been used beyond simply opening it, if the products are not in the same condition as when delivered, or if they have been damaged after delivery.
b) Product Returns or Shipping Errors
If the USER believes that, upon delivery, the product does not conform to the contract or purchase order due to a shipping error, they may contact the SELLER and report their dissatisfaction using the contact information provided at the beginning of these General Terms and Conditions.
The USER will then be informed about the return procedure. Once returned, the products will be examined, and the CUSTOMER will be informed within a reasonable timeframe whether a refund or replacement is warranted.
The full amount paid for products returned due to a defect, when such a defect exists, will be refunded, including shipping costs and any costs incurred by the USER in making the return. The refund will be issued via the same payment method used by the USER for the purchase.
Exceptional situations will be evaluated individually with the sales department.

Partial Invalidity
If any part of these terms of service is found to be contrary to law and therefore invalid, this will not affect the other provisions that are in accordance with the law. The parties agree to renegotiate those points of the terms of service that are found to be invalid and incorporate them into the remaining terms of service.
Modification of the General Terms of Sale
The International Institute of DAO Deficiency reserves the right to modify the general terms of sale without prior notice, and may change, delete, or add to both the content and services presented through the website, as well as the way in which they are presented or located on its servers.
These changes must be accepted by the user each time a purchase is made through the website.
Customers who do not agree with the modifications to the general terms and conditions must notify us and, from the date the new version comes into effect, must cease using the web services.
In the event that any of the terms of the general terms and conditions of sale are declared invalid or unenforceable by a court decision, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This website is located in and operated from Spain. All matters relating to this website are governed by Spanish law and subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Spain, without regard to conflict of law principles.
In cases where the client is not considered a consumer or user, or is domiciled outside of Spain, the courts of Barcelona shall have exclusive jurisdiction, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
If the user chooses to access or use this website from outside of Spain, they do so at their own initiative and are responsible for complying with all applicable laws.
This agreement shall enter into force and become fully effective upon acceptance by the client or user.
This contract, and therefore the general conditions it incorporates, along with any annexes (if any), in addition to being read on this website, may be stored, archived and reproduced by the usual electronic or computer means.
