Genetic Test of DAO deficiency

This genetic study is necessary to know if there exist a primary DAO deficiency. To know it, the patient’s DNA is obtained from a sample of buccal mucosa and the genetic variants of interest are analyzed using SNPE Multiplex (Single Nucleotide Primer Extension).

The sample can be taken both at home and in centers associated with the International Institute of DAO deficiency.
